A faculty for advanced training of nursing specialists is a structural subdivision of a medical university or educational institution that is engaged in additional professional education and advanced training of specialists in the field of nursing.
The main tasks of the faculty:
- Organization and implementation of additional professional education for nursing specialists in the form of retraining and advanced training in accordance with the needs of the healthcare system.
- Improving the professional competencies of mid-level medical personnel, taking into account modern requirements for the quality and safety of medical care.
- Ensuring continuous professional development of nurses and other nursing specialists based on current regulatory legal acts in the field of healthcare and education.
- Training and retraining of specialists in highly specialized areas of nursing , including clinical, diagnostic, preventive and organizational profiles.
- Implementation of modern educational technologies and innovative approaches in the process of postgraduate training of nursing specialists.
- To develop practical skills in students aimed at increasing the effectiveness of nursing care and improving the quality of medical services.
- Organization and conduct of educational events (courses, seminars, trainings) on current issues in nursing and public health.
Forms of training:
- Short-term courses (1-2 weeks).
- Long-term advanced training programs (retraining/primary specialization)
