The Southern Branch of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training (SF KSMIRPC) was established by Order No. 58 of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic dated February 4, 2010, on the basis of the Osh Center for Postgraduate Medical Education (OPME Osh). The OPME Osh was opened in 2005 through the transformation of the Osh branch of the KSMA Center for Postgraduate Education (established in 1999) and the Osh branch of KSMA (established in 1998). SF KSMIRPC is the legal successor of the CPME Osh, the Osh branch of the KSMA Center for Postgraduate Education, and the Osh branch of KSMA, and has been providing educational services in the southern region and Osh since 1998.
The activities of the Legal Foundation of the Kazan State Medical Institute of Policy and Continuing Education are regulated by the following regulatory legal documents:
— License No. LE140001348 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic for the right to conduct educational activities in the field of additional education, issued in 2014 with appendices on 2 sheets based on the decision of the State Inspectorate for Licensing, Accreditation and Certification under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic;
— License No. LD140000474 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic for the right to conduct educational activities in the field of higher professional education, issued in 2014 with appendices on sheets No. 1-16 based on the decision of the State Inspectorate for Licensing, Accreditation and Certification under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic;
— Certificate of registration of a branch of a legal entity, issued by the Osh City Justice Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic on August 26, 2014. Registration No. 111683-3310-F-l;
— Regulations on the Southern Branch of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute of Retraining and Advanced Training, approved by the order of the Rector of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute of Retraining and Advanced Training dated May 14, 2014 No. 297 and re-registered in the Department of Justice of the Osh Region and Osh City on August 26, 2014.
The main structural divisions of the Faculty of Advanced Medical Studies and Advanced Training are the Faculty of Advanced Medical Studies, the Faculty of Advanced Nursing Specialists Studies, the Department of Postgraduate Studies, Clinical Residency and Internship, the Center for Testing and Distance Learning, and 12 departments (Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Surgery and Surgical Specialties, Therapy, Therapeutic Specialties, Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery, Family Medicine, Nursing in Therapy, Nursing in Surgery, Nursing in Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Nursing in Family Medicine, and Emergency Medical Care).
The main objectives of the Law Faculty of the Kazan State Medical Institute of Policy and Continuing Education in the field of educational activities are:
— advanced training and retraining of doctors, pharmaceutical workers with secondary and higher pharmaceutical education, advanced training of nursing specialists, training of teachers of medical educational institutions with the aim of acquiring deep theoretical knowledge and practical skills;
— planning, organizing and conducting postgraduate training (internship and clinical residency) for graduates of medical universities;
— training and retraining of specialists in family medicine and paramedic work;
— training and retraining of specialists in emergency medical care;
— training of scientific and pedagogical personnel in postgraduate studies;
— implementation of research projects that contribute to solving problems of medical science and practical healthcare;
