Postgraduate studies
Postgraduate training in graduate and doctoral studies is carried out in accordance with the nomenclature of specialties for scientific workers, approved by the authorized state body in the field of science.
based on: Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic dated July 4, 2024 No. 358 “On approval of the Regulation on the training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in postgraduate professional education programs”, Regulation on postgraduate study at the KSMIPiPK named after S.B. Daniyarov.
Postgraduate training is carried out on a full-time basis with a 3-year course of study and on a part-time basis (4 years of study), on a budgetary and contractual basis.
Applicants to postgraduate studies take entrance exams: in their specialty, history and philosophy of science, and in a foreign and Kyrgyz language.

1. Application addressed to the rector
2. A copy of the diploma of higher medical education
3. A copy of the certificate of completion of residency
4. Passport and its copy
5. 2 photos measuring 3×4 cm
6. Personal record sheet
7. Autobiography
8. Reference letter
9. List of published works (if any) or abstract
10. Extracts from the work book, work book
11. Consent to scientific supervision
12. Certificate of passing candidate exams (if available)
List of documents for approval of the dissertation topic by the Academic Council
1) An extended abstract of the dissertation, which should reflect:
— title of the topic, deadlines, specialty code;
— last name, first name, patronymic and position of the performer;
— last name, first name, patronymic, academic degree, title, position of the scientific supervisor;
— justification of the relevance of the topic;
— goals and objectives of the study;
— object of research;
— research methods;
— the means used (equipment, drugs, etc.);
— the scope of planned research;
— novelty of research;
— expected results;
— possible area of application;
— forms of implementation.
2) A calendar plan for the preparation of a graduate student and the completion of the dissertation work (signed by the supervisor and the graduate student).
3) Certificate of patent information search.
4) Detailed plan of the dissertation.
5) Two reviews of the dissertation abstract.
6) Extract from the minutes of the department meeting.
Every year, graduate students submit reports on the implementation of the schedule.
Postgraduate students of our institute participate in international scientific congresses, conferences, seminars, and also in the institute’s research projects.
Additional information on admission to postgraduate and doctoral studies can be obtained from the dean’s office of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education and Social Sciences (room 113/114).
Opening hours: Monday – Friday from 08:00 to 17:00.
Reception of residents and postgraduate students on personal matters from 14.00 to 17.00 (issuance of certificates, work books, certificates, referrals, etc.).
Currently, 58 postgraduate students are studying at the Institute, including 12 full-time and 46 part-time postgraduate students in the following specialties:
